For those of us who regularly while away the hours hunting down the Bane in NCsoft's MMORPG, Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa, here's a news bulletin direct from the team themselves: the 1.7 update is now up in the Play Test Server, so you might want to log in right now to make sure your client is up to snuff.
There's a bit of a problem, though. It seems that if you're patching from version 1.6.6.1, then you might encounter a little bug. Here's the news item about it, quoted as is:
Please be advised, if you are patching from version 1.6.6.1 you may get an error message and won't be able to patch to 1.7. We hope to have this issue resolved shortly.
Well, that's that, then. If you're having trouble patching, chances are you're still at 1.6.6.1 and the client won't let you update due to an error. Fret not, as NCsoft's team is working on it. Updates as we get them, so stay tuned.
