RF Online explodes with the next free Giga Expansion |

Codemasters have released another free Giga Expansion for the pleasure of RF Online players all across the world. The last RF Online Giga expansion was released back in July and offered gamers a whole host of new features, including the much-loved battle dungeon "Dark Hole", and this Giga expansion which updates RF Online to Giga 4.2 is no slacker either. The second Giga update is now available for free and is already online across all RF Online servers, but if you haven't come across a list of the new features included in this update, here it is:
Increased XP and PT Rates
ThatÂ’s right RF Online players; the XP and PT rates have been increased in Giga Final Part 2. Now that Giga Final Part 2 has gone live the XP rate will change depending on the level of the monster that you are fighting and players can gain anything up to seven times more XP per monster!
Guild vs. Guild Combat - Circle Zone Scramble
Circle Zone Scramble is RF OnlineÂ’s very own unique Guild vs. Guild system, which enables guilds to challenge each other in an intense sports battle to the death! If you are the competitive type and fancy bringing a group of friends together and declaring all-out warfare on another guild then this is for you!
Elan Plateau
Elan Plateau is a new high-level area within the game for characters that are level 45+. With a variety of new mobs and pit bosses, Elan Plateau is not for the faint of heart. All mobs within this new area are very, very tough and players are advised to group together before venturing out into the wilderness. You have been warned - It's quite difficult and not for the faint-hearted.
Re-modeled Cauldron Volcanic Area
The Cauldron Volcanic Area within the game has been re-modeled and now includes monsters that range from level 48-57. All players must be level 40 or above to access the area and so again make sure youÂ’re in a group before you venture out into the this area.
Individual Unmanned Mining Tool (UMT)
Players now have the ability to mine in the crag mine and take part in other activities at the same time! With the introduction of the individual unmanned mining tool, players no longer need to go away from keyboard with their characters to get that oh so precious ore, giving you more time to get in on the action and go kick the other factionsÂ’ behinds in PvP!
