Well, the time has come to close out the beta phase of RF Online. For those of you that were on the beta team, I hope to see you in game after launch! The beta servers are being shut down, wiped clean and reinstalled with the newest versions of the RF Online client. The dev team is also going to be picking through the beta forums for any additional issues that need to be addressed and, hopefully, fixing all the small things that there wasn't time for in the beta phase.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your hard work and dedication thus far. The beta period has had its ups and its downs but in our opinion it has been a huge success in helping us find and resolve crucial issues. With those issues fixed and with a couple minor gameplay issues being worked on, we are very confident that we are ready for the retail launch. It is with this in mind that I have to make the following announcement about the closed beta. Thanks to the help of the community, the resolve of the dev team and the demands of you the customer, we will be closing the beta servers down and preparing for the launch of the full retail version of RF Online. Servers will be wiped, cleaned up and installed with the latest RF Online client and fixes.

Following up on today's beta announcement we will also be hearing from the games Producer, Simon Humphries, on what we have learned from the month long beta plus what we foresee in regard to updates for RF Online. Please keep an eye on the news section for more details on the launch dates for RF Online across Europe and in the US. We will be sending out an email very soon to also inform the community about the launch dates plus additional information regarding RF Online.

We'd like to thank you all for the input you have given and feedback on the beta forums. We are looking through it all
and in time will address all that has been picked up by you guys.

Until retail...
