Some prisons have been allowing their inmates to become gamers, and honestly, we can't let them have all the fun. There's an MMO out now that allows gamers to play as inmates. Cool, huh?

The localized English PrisonServers for Serving Online Worlds' persistent-world online multiplayer game PrisonServer: The Online Prison Game is about to break open sometime this September. PrisonServer isn't something completely new, the Spanish game has been up and serving inmates since 2003, and has a stable spanish community. No worries though, since the english servers will only cater to english-speaking players.

It's pretty obvious from the title that you can start out as an inmate in a maximum security prison. From rookie thug you can work your way up to gang leader and eventually become a crime-boss. The gameplay on the other hand, features a combination of turn-based combat and classic online RPG play. It has the MMO standard array of items and weapons, around 42 skills to learn, detailed character customization, and it also features a forced PvP server.

If you want to check the game out, you can head out to the english prisonserver website, download the client, and apply for a free account.
