PotBS devlog: new quests sighted for French Capitol Point-a-Pitre |
Ó
After remodeling the new French Capitol, Pointe-a-Pitre, in patch 1.2 for Pirates of the Burning Sea, the developers from Flying Lab Software explain some of the technical details of the new quest they've designed especially for the new port city. From a city whose name literally "Point with a Clown", you can expect really offbeat quests to greet you once you settle in from your long sea voyage. True enough, one of the first quests which greets you begins rather innocuously as the city's Magistrate Dehongue asks you to search for a ship bearing muskets needed by the local militia to defend the town.
Amidst the larger mystery surrounding the missing ship, other smaller quests are also there to occupy your time. You're sure to meet a vast array of characters as they introduce you to several quests, one of which includes trying to stop an outbreak of... mimes, of all things.
The developers also mention that they will be working on several other quests from across the PotBS game world. These include a new supernatural mission similar to the one in Bey's Retreat, as well as the conclusion of the long-running British national storyline in Basseterre.
Players can expect this and much more in future updates for Pirates of the Burning Sea. So make sure to station someone up on the crow's nest to keep an eye out for these new quests in succeeding patches for the game.
