Blizzcon is still a couple of weeks away, but if you’re ready to start your Blizzarding early, you can participate in the Intel Virtual Scavenger hunt. The game revolves around Blizzard trivia, so those that know the games will have better odds of moving forward.

Here’s how the game works: First, you’re presented with a simple clue. My first clue had something to do with Firewalkers, but I’m not great with lore so it read like “blah blah blah wizards lore lore lore.” Next, you’ll need to select the game from which the lore originated. After choosing the game, you’ll select a particular region and, finally, the character to which the statement applies.
The next part of the game is an item hunt similar to what you would find in an old “Highlights” magazine, and I don’t want to ruin where the game goes from there. Hell, it’s Saturday and you’re on the internet reading about video games, so you may as well invest a few minutes exploring the scavenger hunt for yourself. The game isn't without bugs though; I played it for a bit and it seems to have forgotten all of the questions I answered correctly. It's also dumping me on a "find the item" search I've already completed, and there's no way to move forward.
The end result of all this exploring is supposedly chance to win a variety of items from Razer, Intel, SteelSeries and ibuypower.com. If you stick with it long enough, you'll also have a chance at landing a Blizzcon loot bag. The total giveaway is apparently worth 35,000, so head to the site and see if you can’t win yourself some loot: Intel Blizzcon Virtual Scavenger Hunt
