Flying Lab Software Director of Community Relations and Community Envoy for MMORPG Pirates of the Burning Sea Troy "Aether" Hewitt has posted an update over at the game's official forums. The post was to inform players about a bug currently affecting gameplay.

According to Aether, Marks of Victory in PotBS is currently not working as intended. The scope of the problem is as follows, according to official:

While Marks of Victory are being rewarded as a result of a successful boarding combat, players are not being awarded Marks of Victory for sinking an opponent during a PvP encounter.

We are working now to deploy a patch that will correct this issue and we will keep you updated on our progress. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

While it is good to know that Flying Lab Software is currently working on the program, it is quite uncertain now as to when the said patch will go live. Just keep checking back here at QJ.NET as we promise to inform you as soon as something comes up.
