Pirates of the Burning Sea update: critical maintenance scheduled |
Ó

For those of us sailing the seven seas in Flying Lab Software's Pirates of the Burning Sea MMORPG, then here's an important announcement: Sony Online Entertainment has scheduled a critical maintenance procedure for the game, to begin at 1AM and end at 5AM, Pacific Time on Wednesday, March 12. Pretty long time, but as it's critical, so it's definitely important.
Why you should know about this, you ask? Because Flying Lab Software thinks that it could mess around with the gameplay servers. The news post, verbatim:
It is expected that the procedure will interrupt our gameplay servers, as well as our forum logins and User Content submissions. This outage will not impact game servers, forum logins or user content submissions for our Australian customers.
So if you're planning on playing Pirates of the Burning Sea around that time but you're not anywhere near (or in) Australia, then you might want to sleep in instead. At the very least, you won't have to worry about the game servers crashing on you, right?
