Peeking into more Pirates of the Caribbean Online launch info

Disney Online's Pirates of the Caribbean Online has just opened up a treasure chest full of info about the game. Firstly, it's already going to set sail this Spring - much earlier than we all expected.

Based on the popular Bruckheimer films, this MMO game will have on your very own high-seas adventure and interacting with characters from the movie, the likes of Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, and Captain Jack Sparrow himself. There will be two available options for players: Basic Access and Unlimited Access.

The first mode is a free, ad-supported section of the game. Don't worry though, Disney promises that these ads won't affect the gameplay experience. You'll still be able to jump right into the action of the game, and create and customize your very own character, but still, it'll only be to a degree.

Unlimited Access, on the other hand, has much more exclusive features thrown in. If you subscribe to the option for US$ 9.95 (that's a per-month fee), the full game will be open to you, without any ads at all. Community interaction will also be supported on this mode, as well as the whole range of customization.
