Nexon strikes a partnership with MTV |
Ó
You've probably seen the cute Maple Story ads. You know, those little flash presentations that feature tiny game characters with text like, "Run away from home" (insert cute character zigzagging across the screen), "Dye your hair" (insert cute character with an ever-changing hair color), and "Get away with murder" (insert cute character killing pigs that go, poof!).
Oh yeah, did I say they're cute?
Anyway, Nexon, the Korean company responsible for promoting this game (as well as their titles such as Audition and Kart Rider Online), is having a tie-in with TV network mogul MTV. I'm betting you'll see more of Maple Story (touted as the first 2D side-scrolling MMO, by the way), as well as other Nexon games on MTV, so you might want to look forward to that.
"We are delighted to establish this mutually beneficial partnership with one of the world's leading creators of programming and content across all media platforms and the premier media partner in North America for Nexon's wide ranging target audience," says David Lee, CEO of Nexon Japan.
