Newest addition to Voyage Century: Trade adventures |
Ó
The site hacking incident that almost crippled IGG's operations is all behind them now. As if to say "We f---ing don't mind," company Internet Gaming Gate still proceeded with the play testing phase of pet project Voyage Century Online. And with the MMO title to remain free until all seas dry up, it seems that sea God Poseidon is finally allowing them a smooth sailing voyage. With that said, we're pretty sure you are interested with what's going on in the game's pre-release development. Well, aside from barter trading and city wide battles, IGG decided to include another exciting facet to the game: trade adventures. Accordingly, the new feature lets players explore the exciting world of trade and commerce. Captains, likewise, can send their ships wherever they wish in search of merchandise and other riches.
Also, those who aren't captain yet can still enjoy the trade feature by transporting goods from one place to another, buying low and selling high, all the while keeping an eye on market supply and demand. Once players become accustomed to their craft, they are now allowed to become adventurers. At this point in development, Voyage comes with the following choices:
- Sail the oceans wide in search of raw materials from far-off lands
- Be the middleman, buying those raw materials and processing them for resale at a hefty profit
- Or buy processed materials and selling them as finished products
