Neogence + MGTS = Next-Gen MMORPG |
Ó
Indie MMO developer Neogence Studios has chosen the Monumental Games Technology Suite (“MGTS”) to be used in Immortal
Destiny, Neogence's first evolutionary MMORPG title.Neogence CEO and Author of MMO Evolution Robert Rice said, “The team at Monumental really understands that MMO developers need...flexible tools to create innovative next-gen games. MGTS will shave at least two years off of the development schedule for our first title.”
Rice says that the Monumental Games Technology Suite is perfect for Immortal Destiny in creating evolutionary gameplay, environments, effects, and graphics that will set a new standard in the way MMO games are designed. What is it about the MGTS that's got Neogence's panties all in a twist?
Well, the Monumental Games Technology Suite significantly reduces the time of marketing MMO games and technological risks in creating MMO games, that's why. How? It gives developers advanced tools and established content creation pipeline, allowing developers to focus more on the gameplay. This way, we're guaranteed a more thought through gameplay and stunning graphics.
Rik Alexander, CEO of Monumental Games, says that with so many MMO titles in the market right now, which, according to him, have the same content and gameplay, their job is to allow developers to focus on the creation of unique games, instead of fussing over the technological aspects of the game. It's too early for us to judge whether all this talk on innovation and uniqueness would in fact be seen in the game, looks like we'll have to wait and see.
