Nexon, although slightly late, released a new set of screens to highlight the new features of the only MMORPG that just screams: "Look at me! I'm cute!" Yes, it is the game where monsters tear up when swatted on the head and where smiles are just as plentiful as the shouting of "n00b!" It's a game that looks like it was made for kids, but caters even to adults.

So what's new in the world of Maple? Well, marriage for one. Like a few other MMORPGs out there, Maple Story allows you to find your "virtual" significant other and exchange vows online. The new quest, called Proof of Love, allows interested players to follow their heart in their pursuit of love. The game also sports a new whole collection of Cash Items (for players who buy Nexon Cash).

The game is now on its Beta version 0.34, a new patch released just in time for Valentine's Day, and three event-related quests are available:
  1. Chocolate and Chocolate Basket Quests (February 7 to 15)
  2. Rose Weapon Quest (February 7 to 15)
  3. ValentineÂ’s Day Website Event (February 7 to 23)
Here are some screenshots of the new items, NPCs and locations available in the game:

» awesome

Maple Story is the best MMORPG i have ever played. YES, better then WoW. It's a free, amazing MMO, with the only problem being it has only 4 jobs, and everybody is a human. X.X, but if not for that, the game would be perfect.
