Playfuls brings good tidings for all LotRO fans today. The stress test has gone great and public beta testing has now started in Europe, coinciding neatly with the announcement that the Euro release of Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar will be on April 24. If you're interested in signing up, you can do so by heading on over to lotro-europe.com/beta. Great timing too, because with the NDA now lifted, you can go forth and spread the LotRO love.
At the same time, Codemasters has also come up with a pre-order promo that'll give players a ten-day head start in the game. If you pre-order the game online from "specific participating retailers", you can actually start grinding as soon as April 14, plus you'll also receive a special in-game item, six LotRO stickers, a window sticker, the option to become a Founder Member of the game, and a DVD containing the pre-order game client.
