LOTRO Euro Beta Testers Approach 100,000 |
The number of Europeans signing up for the Lord Of The Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar beta testing program is approaching 100,000. It also happens to mark a half century since Tolkien's original saga was first published. In observance of both occasions, Codemasters Online Gaming is planning to give away some special prizes.
In celebration, the person who becomes the 100,000th sign up will win a 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings as well as a special edition of LoTR:SoA when the game is released later this year. Four sign ups on either side of the 100,000 mark (eight in all) will also receive the Special Edition of the game.
