Linden closes down SL support until the 26th |
Ó
Most of you are all probably sleepy or already sleeping because you smacked a helluva meal down your throat during the Christmas eve feast. You're probably too lazy now to get up and do something but still you decide to play Second Life. There's nothing really wrong with that but if something happens to you there, please be informed that the support system for the game is currently down. Well, not entirely. Developer Linden Lab has this announcement for everyone:
The support office at Linden Lab will be closed December 25th for the Christmas holiday. We will have some limited phone support, and of course you may submit email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Voice mail goes into our support system and will be picked up starting December 26th, and email support will resume on the 26th as well. Have a happy holiday!
Now, why is this important? Well, when you really think about it, there are actually a lot of reasons why this is important. Remember the assault of the phallic griefer on Anshe Chung a couple of days ago? How about the vigilantes that threaten residents with, uh, words? Or other technical grid problems like inventory glitches and so forth...
The point is there is no support. If something happens, don't whine. The authorities are not there. Just imagine your city officials and policemen taking a day off. You're probably scared to come out but then again, why not? Second Life is, indeed, just a second life. Enjoy.
