Tulga Games has announced the next installment in its award-winning MMO game, Horizons: Empire of Istaria, entitled The Settlements. It will contain all of the original content from Empire and add new environments and creatures as well as other updates.

HTS has content from players and developers, including new furniture and "racially-themed structures" such as Dryad trees and Dwarven tunnels. New types of companion animals will also function as familiars and guardians and as working animals.
New monsters have arrived in Istaria, testing characters' battle skills in new ways. Naturally, there will be new quests and treasures to be won as well.

Horizons is one of the more flexible MMO's, with  a co-operative gameplay option and the ability to play solo for brief periods without penalty. Settlements will be available to current subscribers free of charge, while new subscribers can sign on for only $19.99. If you're not sure, you can download a free trial at the Istaria website.
