Heads Up For Illutia Players |
Ó
If you are a player of the free "anime-fantasy" MMORPG called Illutia, be advised that there'll be some server upgrades coming soon. The live test of the upgraded server software will be starting in the next day or so.Players are advised that over the course of the test, there may be more bugs, some downtime, and frequent server reboots. New features are on their way, but the technicians will be adding these slowly - one at a time - so they can be tested thoroughly.
Published by Crazed Monkeys, Illutia was released three years ago under the title Aspereta. The original idea was to find out if there was still a market for 2D MMORPGs. Apparently there is, because the game in its current incarnation has over 50,000 players. Featuring the ever-popular Japanese "anime" style, Illutia is set in a land called Vita Genero, where two kingdoms - Patrian and Ipcus - are fighting over the nature of some rather destructive beasts known as "Nosaerons," and are attempting to "seal them away" forever.
