Gas Powered Games announces Season Pass for Age of Empires Online

Age of Empires Online is free to download, but just like all games who follow the free to play business model the developers will still be making money off it through the release of premium content.

Developer Gas Powered Games plans to release a bunch of new paid content throughout Age of Empires Online's lifetime. Of course, you can just pick which ones you want to get, but if you want to buy them all then the Season Pass is the perfect choice for you.

The Season Pass is a US$ 99.99 purchase that gives players access to all premium Age of Empires Online content that will be released within the game's first six months. That means you can pay for all of the DLC that comes out from launch until February 16th next year at one time.

These cover everything from premium civs to booster packs and extras. Items will automatically appear in your game on release, so be careful not to repurchase items if they come out within the six-month period covered by the Season Pass.
