Flying Lab Software on the PotBS group conquest missions |
Ó
How would you like to grab some of your friends and start stirring up or reducing social unrest? That, according to Gavin Irby of Flying Lab Software, is part of Pirates of the Burning Sea Patch 1.3. Whether it's acting as the vanguard for an invasion force or protecting a fort from attackers, the end result is the same: a PvP experience.
Irby mentioned three considerations that Flying Lab Software had to take into account for the repeatable PotBS group content missions:
- It needed to be strike the proper balance between being challenging enough for a group of 4-6 players while still being reasonable enough to complete on a regular basis.
- It needed to require a team effort wherein delegation of responsibility and finesse took priority over mere zerging.
- It had to be easily scalable for level.
The group conquest missions form part of the new content in Pirates of the Burning Sea. Stay tuned for more patch updates from Flying Lab Software in the near future.
