Flagship Studios Seattle goes for a facelift as Runic Games

The ship of Flagship Studios has long since sunk, and the future of the employees hang blithely at the balance. However it now looks as if there really is a light at the end of the tunnel. Flagship Studios Seattle, the studio developing Mythos, has announced that they have created Runic Games.

This new gaming studio is lead by Travis Baldree and Max Schaefer. Baldree was the Project Director for Mythos at Flagship Seattle, while Schaefer was VP for Blizzard North and Director of Blizzard Entertainment before co-founding Flagship Studios in 2003. The resumÃ© of both guys sure are impressive, and we're really looking forward to what kind of new visions they'll have for the reformed company.

It's yet unknown if the development of Mythos will be continued or not, but it's said that more information about the new company's projects will be released in the coming days, so watch out for that.
