Finally, Jumpgate Evolution announced with screenshots

For the Jumpgate fans who've been waiting for the overhaul, here's some good news for you. NetDevil has finally released an official announcement about the revamped title, now to be known as Jumpgate Evolution.

The space MMO will be getting a makeover visually and content-wise. As you can probably see from the screenshots, NetDevil made good of its promise that the overhaul title Jumpgate Evolution will be prettier. And prettier it definitely is. Notice the Alpha Build 2007.06.19 stamped at the lower left hand corner of the screens? These alpha build images certainly show promise.

The official website for Jumpgate Evolution has gone live, by the way, and is now open for those interested for the game's beta test. There hasn't been any news regarding the new features and content or when the beta test will get released thus far, but we'll keep you posted on that when they become available.
