In a move pretty common for MMO games nowadays, Dungeons & Dragons Online developer Turbine has announced the availability of a free trial, lasting for 7 days and providing full, unlimited access to Dungeons & Dragons Online's many facets except for the newly released Dragon's Vault module, which is only available to subscribers. After the trial period has ended, players can choose to purchase the game online or at retail, keeping their characters created in the trial period. If there's no credit card available, the possibility to subscribe via PayByCash is also offered, where a 60-day game-pass will cost you $33.19.
Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach was released on February 28th and represents the first time a D&D game heads to online territory. As World of Warcraft continues to prove that fantasy MMORPGs aren't going out of style, Atari and Turbine hope to attract both hardcore D&D fans as well as a more casual audience to their game.
