StormreachTurbine, Inc, developer of the MMORPG Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach has announced a partnership with online game and community portal Letsgame to distribute the illustrious role-playing game in Korea. This also means that Letsgame will handle the localization, marketing and operation for Turbine">Stormreach.

About the partnership, Turbine CEO Jeffrey Anderson said that the Korean market "represents an important opportunity for Turbine. This agreement signals Turbine’s commitment to a long-term presence in Korea and the continued rollout of DDO as a global franchise.”

We'll have to see how such a Western-styled game like Stormreach will fare in the Korean market, which is already chock-full with MMORPGs developed in and mostly, solely for Korea. Still, Korea would have been too big of an opportunity to miss out on for developer Turbine - with games like EVE Online making a successful launch in Asia, it's worth a try. Hopefully the Korean players will appreciate Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach as much as Europe and the US.
