DDO Demon Sands features and screens |
Ó
So DDO's new module, Demon Sands has been launched, and it sure is making us all giddy with excitement. Do you have an idea what the new features are? Well, they're basically 20 pages long, but we'll name a few here. Go take a look:
- Gripping PvP Combat: This one's featuring two PvP modes: Tournament Battles and Tavern Brawls. And that means more strategies, tactics, and of course, melee combat. You can enter various arenas for the tourney battles, and go on a no holds barred brawling spree in special DDO taverns for (you guessed it) Tavern Brawls.
- Increased Level Cap Featuring More Dangerous Dungeons and Monsters: The level cap's been raised to ten more ranks, so players can have access to more spell, enhancements and feats. Of course, additional ranks mean additional monsters, and you can sure expect these guys roaming in the new desert: Efreeti, Genies, Gnolls, and the Marilith.
- New Auction House: Virtual houses are placed all over the map, so you can't miss 'em when you want to sell in-game goodies. Sellers are free to open bids, while buyers can browse the items found in the Auction House.
- More Solo-Based D&D Gameplay: Of course we can't get enough pf these solo quests to hone our character's skills. Speaking of which, the dark-skinned elven race, Drow has been added. What are their skills? That's for you to discover.
