Gamers who play Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach are in for a pleasant surprise. A post on the DDO Development forum asked if anything was going to be addressed towards opening up extra character slots per server.
Why, you may ask? Well, this would allow gamers the opportunity to try new things without having to play on a server where they don't know anyone. And gamers wouldn't have to delete characters they've been developing or trying out just for fun.
The Community Relations Manager, Victor Wachter (also known as the creatively-named Sporkfire), answered that question by saying, "Yep. We're probably going to add at least one character slot to each server. It doesn't have to hold a Drow, but if you want to make one without deleting an existing character, you should probably save it."
So, one more character per server means gamers can try out some new things without having to delete their old characters. And more characters equal more gaming. Boo yeah!
