CES premieres Age of Conan on DirectX 10 |

It looks like Conan's going to get prettified during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Funcom and Eidos will be showing off a version of their Age of Conan MMO at CES that runs on DirectX 10 at the Microsoft booth.
Funcom's quite proud of making it work, too. Funcom CEO Trond Arne Aas had this to say in their press release:
Microsoft's new DirectX 10 technology represents a great leap forward for graphics, performance and even the development process of a PC game. Being one of the two first companies in the world to demonstrate this live is not only a testament to the technological skills of Funcom, but also to our continued commitment to the evolution of the PC as a gaming platform.
With an announcement like that so early in the year, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is gearing itself up to be one of the flagship enterprises for Microsoft's Windows Vista software. Something tells us we're going to need stronger PCs really soon, though we'll probably wait to see what else CES has in store for MMO and console fans everywhere. Till then, we'll try and find more info on the DirectX 10 preview they have for the game.

Is it worth is even upgrading to vista? Checking out digg, it doesn't seem Vista is having a very warm reception. On top of that, the minimum specs are no doubt going to be outrageous... Lol...maybe you should get a PS3 for PC gaming instead?
ps3 for pc gaming is a non option. You can get lunix running on it but windows gaming is out.
