Blizzard Entertainment's apparently looking for a few good men (two, actually) as they announce another round of job openings. This time, the company's looking for either a Senior Graphic Designer, or a Senior Tools Programmer for Next-Gen MMOs.Those who plan to sign up for the graphic designer post will need at least five years of related work experience. Those interested in the tools programmer position will need experience in using editing packages such as Avid, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro. Here's a lowdown of what responsibilities each job will entail:
- Senior graphic designer:
- Design, contribute to, and oversee packages, logos, print ad campaigns, style guides, merchandise, trade show graphics, and other projects.
- Maintain creative involvement with projects from beginning to end.
- Collaborate with marketing team and creative director to launch major game titles.
- Senior tools programmer for next-gen MMOs
- Design and implement new professional-quality non-linear video editing tool integrated into our tool chain.
- Communicate with other departments within the team and the company to develop the tool that the users want and expect.
- Create reusable UI controls for use in other tools
