Bioware focusing on Old Republic for new year |

BioWare developer Greg Zeschuk has said that the work on Star Wars: The Old Republic will never end and has plans for over five years of development. Zeschuk is more than happy with the opening days of release of Star Wars: The Old Republic. The whole team is more than excited and Chris Ohlen, the creative director of the game said that there are "different levels of success" and that they have "different models built out." They're looking to be "super-successful" and they are also making plans if they don't hit "all [their] targets."
Ohlen says that they plan to have a lot of success with "millions of subscribers," but that they have plans for a "small subscriber base." It's all just planning and while they will hope for WoW type numbers, they still can be well below 'WoW and still be incredibly profitable." They know that Blizzard changed the way people make AAA MMO titles and will hope to be as innovative.
Ohlen has said that unlike other companies he plans to keep the company together, and focus on "building content."The first thing they will be dealing with are the apparent server problems that Bioware has faced since launched. This is due to the immensely popular demand of the game and it's good to see them jumping at it right away, so people can play over the Christmas break.
