Pirate-themed MMORPGs are a dime a dozen these days. There's Pirates of the Burning Sea by Flying Labs Software, Voyage Century by IGG, and whatnot. Well, IGG is casting in yet another piratical MMO into the Interweb oceans in the form of Tales of Pirates. This time around, things get a bit more fantastical without the "historically-accurate" factor of other pirate games. Here, you get a swashbuckling adventure like no other - something fresh, something breezy.
Closed beta for the game is well underway now, and some of you who are participating in the beta testing might be pleased to hear that your accounts won't be purged for when the open beta rolls in. Consider it a splashing "Thank you" from the developers for all your efforts in reporting bugs and errors in the system (keep it up guys!). Who knows? All you ideas and suggestions might pay off in the future.
