We've received word that MMORPG.com and Codemasters are giving away 10 pre-order packs of ArchLord and will also include a retail version of the game when it releases. Of course like most online promotions, this you'll actually have to join a contest first to get your goodies. If you've no idea what ArchLord is, here's a little info for you so you'd get a better grasp of what the prize is all about. ArchLord is an MMO set in the world of Chantra. It pretty much has all the standard set of elements that make MMOs enjoyable but with a unique hook, the chance to rule the in game world and with it receive a range of benefits. Hence the game's name.
Players are able to play as one of three unique races including Humans, Moon Elf's and Orcs - your standard fantasy fare. You've got eight classes per race, pick one, customize, and then much farming and leveling follows. For those who love PVP, the game offers massive battles you can join. If you wish to engage in more solo play, you can partake in an extensive range of quests to explore the world and level your skills at your leisure.
Now, before I sound like an advert for the game, you can check out some of the screenshots and artwork we've found for it here. To join the contest, you're required to be an MMORPG.com member. Oh yeah, also only people 13 years of age or older are eligible to join. This contest will run until October 8th at 9PM EDT. Hopefully those of you who're trying to save money and at the same time enjoy their MMO's will find this useful.
