Activison logo - Image 1While everyone is still wondering how Call of Duty 5 will be like without Infinity Ward's hand in it, publisher Activision has its sights on bigger things. In a speech to investment analysts, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick said that talks of Call of Duty going MMORPG is on-going.

Now that it's only a matter of time before Activision merges with Blizzard, the creator of the world's most popular MMORPG known as World of Warcraft, the publisher which owns Call of Duty believes that its new partner can help take the franchise to the MMO scene.

According to Activision's head honcho, the company noticed that its attempts to create a massively multiplayer online game haven't resulted in big profits. The decision to join forces with Blizzard as Activision Blizzard meant that Activision can get not only a piece of the WoW pie, but also the expertise to make new MMO projects.
