MMORPG.com is currently giving away 1000 keys to lucky gamers who would be willing to try out the closed beta version of the brand new MMORPG Pirate King Online. The said beta is expected to be launched on August 31.
With a storyline that spans 5000 years of piracy, this 3D online game encourages exploration and navigation among its players. Designed to be a light-hearted and relaxed game, the character designs were deliberately made to be humorous so that it can match the game's comical nature. But that doesn't mean that it's always just rainbows and flowers for this MMORPG world, since there are still a lot of towns to visit and dungeons to clear. On top of that, remember that it's still in closed beta, so who knows what other exciting features the designers will add later on.

Well if you plan on playing this game better sign up fast for both keys and on the site. As for the game its pretty cool alteast from the screenies on main site and screenies from the chinese servers. Its best to go to their site to find out the full details cause there's a lot you can do besides grinding levels. Plus there are many ways you can earn money in this game. well if your gonna copy...copy from the best.
I think it looks nice, I love the 3D CT/FF3 style. Maybe it's just me though, but the TEXT in those shots look mad ugly. I hope they use a different font :X

To #2 umm what are you expecting? Nintendo Wii? This is not a flame but more of an opinion. In the world of mmorpg what can you really expect since its been out. Most mmo's today tend to have the same type of user interface. Reason being it works and guess what most people who will play it will be able to pick it up without trouble. If it works stick with it thats what most people will do. Most mmo makers arn't like nintendo that have money to well take a risk.
Oh as for the fonts thats cause their screenies most screenies are usually don't show true quality.
