Top 3 downloaded WoW mods this week |
Ó
We kick things off with the third placer, VoidRaider's WoWLoader v2.2b. We have never met an MMORPG fanatic who smile or gush every time they experience lagging while focused on a major onslaught, so this is where WoWLoader enters the picture. This nifty mod is a small Windows application that halts all non-essential Windows services and automatically loads WoW. The result? More system resources available for you to play WoW in the highest graphics setting your PC can handle. The "shutting-the-services" part isn't permanent although you'd have to restart your PC to re-enable them.

Now we go to the second mod in the title billing and that is Sinsthar's Power Auras v2.10. If you lately spend most of your living and breathing days in front of the computer playing WoW then this one just might suit you. What is it? This mod basically decorates your user interface which results to a clean-cut, user-friendly system- and a clean UI is of course beneficial during battles and is also an advantage when in non-combat mode. Most of you loved it, got it and we hope that there are more out there who would do the same. Here's your second chance to get the second most downloaded WoW mod.

But there is one that was a stand out among the collective and the most downloaded mod for this week is Seyss' Proc Watcher 2.0. Simplicity is the name of the game for this mod, why is that? First off its functionality is simple and that is to track your abilities and show them in a window along with Count/CritsCount, Crit Chance and Highest Value. The simple function doesn't stop there because Seyss' creation also studies and absorbs what abilities you have as you use them, plus the data is safely safe-kept and collected even if the window is closed. As my fellow blogger Karl mentioned, the mod is "kinda like the Energizer Bunny. It keeps going and going".

Now, we have done our part. We have given you a second chance to get these WoW mods and try them for yourself so as you'll stop taking our word for it. The rest is really up to you. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and start downloading! Also, expect a lot more of mods and other goodies at DL.QJ!

I like the idea of VoidRaider's WoWLoader v2.2b... But what hinders the full potential of this application is the fact that it requires .NET to run.. unless when it launches WoW, it stops all .NET processes as well. I have yet to install .NET on my gaming machine (nor will I ever).. they need a C++ port of this app.
