Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - Image 1

If you're hunting for more information regarding the upcoming MMORPG from EA Mythic, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, then here's an update that should get you in the know: a progress report right from the game's developers themselves.

In this particular question-and-answer portion, we find out more about the game, in terms of the classes, the levels, and the content we'll be hacking our way through. There's a lot of info here, so let's just cover the juiciest bits first.

First off, the question that rings first in everybody's mind whenever they see a new MMORPG: how long would it take for a player to get to the highest rank? The answer is - well, pretty quick, but that's for your character only in terms of stats and abilities.

What will have you grinding is getting to the maximum Renown rank, or how your character is known in the game. The developers admit that it's going to be slow, but at least you'll be doing what Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is all about, and that's killing other players.

Then we catch wind about the many ways you can level up in the game. One of the biggest parts of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is the Public Quests, which the game has no less than 300 of. Then there's the scenarios, all 30 of them easily accessible no matter what level you're in.

And what's even better than no level requirements in PQs is that you don't need to be part of a group to do them - you just need other people to be doing the same quest as you, but you don't have to talk to them or even help them. You're just there, as a solo player, and if group activities aren't your thing, you can hack it all on your lonesome.

Definitely great news for a greatly-anticipated game. Check out the via link for tons more info.
