An Interview with Marco van Haren on the Daevi Race and More |
Ó
Public Relations and Web Content Manager for The Chronicles of Spellborn, Marco van Haren was on the hotseat as Garrett Fuller from MMORPG asked all that you wanted to know about the game.
Van Haren talked in detail about the Daevi race - why they were created for the game, information on their birth signs and if they'll have unique weapons and armor. "The Chronicles of Spellborn features a unique, genuine setting, environment and atmosphere. It would have been completely out of place to have a “regular” fantasy race such as orcs or elves living in the TCoS universe."
Having a very good demo at E3, players are anxious to know any information on the game's development. However, he gives the typical it's-going-great-but-we-can't-tell-you-how-great kind of answer, "The current version is getting closer and closer to completion and already contains most of the features that are planned for release. That said, we are still undergoing heavy testing and we are not finished yet. Based on the input from our Beta players a lot of things are changed and improved where possible."
And in relation, people are also wondering if The Chronicle of Spellborn will make its Q4 2006 deadline. "Spellborn is advancing as planned. We are still working on certain implementations as well as some “cosmetic” improvements. With the Beta testers rapidly increasing in numbers, we are definitely committed to release Spellborn in 2006."
These are just snippets of the very informative interview for long time fans and those just new to the game. So if you want to go deeper into the rabbit hole, the read link will take you there.
