Rumor: New iPhone to be unveiled next week |

iPhone model coming out. It's just that nobody knows when it will be released. It looks like Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal does, though.
In his review of the new Palm Pre, Mossberg dropped hints regarding the new iPhone not just once, but twice. Here's the quote that mentions an announcement for next week:
Whether the Pre is better than the iPhone depends on your personal preferences, though IÂ’d note that the new iPhone to be unveiled next week will have lots of added features that could alter those calculations.
Elsewhere in the review, Mossberg also says this:
Unfortunately for Palm, Apple has both a new iPhone operating system and new iPhone hardware coming, likely available within a month, that could obviate many of these advantages.
So, the Apple World Wide Developers Conference then? That's happening next week, and a lot of people are already expecting iPhone announcements at WWDC.

Hopefully new iPod touch too. Seriously, who buys iPhones? $500 for the phone and $130 for the plan. I'll stick with my crappy flip phone and my iPod touch, thank you.
the iphone is $200 and the ipod touch is $230... where are you getting $500 for an iphone?! the 16 gig model (the one i own) is $300...
and the plan isn't $130...

My 16gb cost 300, my monthly bill is a little over 90. You're off by about 200 on the phone, and 40 on the plan.

wow...whats the point of buying the iphone over and over again...their just going to keep coming out with a new one...if you have every single model of the iphone, donate to a charity for a change...

correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure people can go from an older iphone revision to a newer one without charge? so there not "buying" a new one.

yea 4 sure.. Much like my new benz which they let me upgrade to a newer model every year without a charge.
well tose replys awsoner that then. well i guess does like to suck people wallets dry. well this was just an assumption seeing as if you was on a contract, i would of thought a contract for an iphone was a contract for an iphone. but what do i know im on a pay monthly sim :L
well i did leave a reply didn't come up so type it again. lol well i would of thought from a contract with an iphone and iphone is an iphone, but i guess people love to suck the money out of your wallet. tbh i've never had phone on contract, i only use a pay monthly sim.

They don't have to have one, you can buy an iPhone for $500 and get it on AT+T without a contract.
