Kevin Rose: iPhone 3.0 will challenge the Palm Pre

It's far from official news, but Digg's Kevin Rose has been right on these kinds of things before (and also wrong, for that matter). He predicts that iPhone 3.0 will finally have copy and paste, and will bring the device "up to speed with the Palm Pre," Palm's newest baby with a Linux-based operating system. No background apps though.



True? We'll find out soon. Apple says they'll be releasing a preview of 3.0 on the 17th.

most influential people on the internet to date. He helped created Revision3, created Digg, created Pownce and has expanded the internet's view on things. I personally do not like the iPhone, mainly because of the developer's costs. I hope they realize the iphone's potentiality. Anyway I respect Kevin's views...Him and Alex Albrecht's.

I find it sad how I'm excited about getting features from a software update that most phones have out of the box on their release date. Although the video recording bit did sort of make sense, I don't understand how apps such as Cycorder can work just fine.
