Steve Jobs's cancer may have recurred, doctors say - Image 1Worrying Apple users and investors alike, Steve Jobs took a 6-month medical leave of absence a few days ago due to health issues.

The official word is that Jobs' problems are a "hormonal imbalance," but was actually "more complex" than anyone thought.

Although the homefront has been quiet since then, other doctors (note: not Jobs' doctors) speculate on some possible reasons on Jobs' condition.

Those who expect the worst suggest that the cancer he was treated for back in 2004 has returned, and spread to other organs. Other doctors, the non-doomsday prophesying kind, suggest that his condition is just a side-effect of the original operation, or a result of insulin deficiency.

Jobs is more than just the face of Apple and the messiah of tech aesthetics. His continuing health concerns are causing turbulence for Apple's stocks.
