It's been a long time coming, but after a year and a half of waiting, 2D Boy has finally released the iPhone and iPod Touch version of their highly addictive physics-based puzzler, World of Goo.
The game is now available on sale for US$ 0.99 for the first 24 hours of it’s released. After that first 24 hours, the game will be reverted to its regular price of US$ 2.99. But that's not all, if you happen to own the World of Goo HD, a new update is now also available, making it a universal app. So basically, if you want to play the game on both the iPad and iPhone/iPod, you should get the US$ 4.99 HD version, but if you want only want to play the app on your iPhone/iPod, you should get the US$ 2.99 non-HD version. Remember folks, this game requires an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 or 3rd generation iPod Touch or newer.
