SwipeBack Makes Navigating iOS Easier |

While iOS is certainly the tried and true mobile operating system of choice for billions of people around the world, there are still certainly a few signs that the software itself is starting to get just a little bit dated. As more and more users are now starting to navigate through more and more apps, it seems that there should be a simpler way to progress from one menu to the next without having to search for a button. Thanks to this Cydia tweak from Ryan Petrich we can now have a way to do just that.

Up to this very moment, the menu architecture for all iOS apps is left mostly up to developers. This means that in some senses your user experience has probably recently turned out to be a little bit more fragmented. While some more forward thinking apps are starting to integrate touch based controls to fly through different sections, there are still others that either dislike using this system or just haven't updated their software to make the change. Lucky for you, if you want swipe gestures in all of your apps, you don't have to wait. All you need to do is install SwipeBack and watch the magic happen!
I really mean that quite literally too, in that there are few tweaks that install as easy as this. Obviously you need to be jailbroken first to use the Cydia store, but once you have that set up, all you have to do is head on over to the BigBoss repo and install SwipeBack. After that there are no fancy settings or customizations to mess around with. Touch gestures will "just work." It might take some getting used to, but soon you'll see how a new and intuitive navigation method can really spice up an aging OS. The best part is, there are no firmware restrictions either, so as long as you can jailbreak your device, this option will be there for you. Swipe yourself into the future!
