Sniper: Ghost Warrior is coming to iOS |

City Interactive has announced that its Sniper: Ghost Warrior series is coming to iOS devices.
Due for release in Q1 2012, Sniper: Ghost Warrior for iPad®, iPhone® and iPod Touch® will translate all the intense long-range precision gameplay of its console counterpart to tablet and mobile.
Currently in development at Vivid Games, based in Bydgoszcz in Poland, Sniper: Ghost Warrior for iOS will be built on Unreal Engine3 from Epic Games Inc. The project – a fully-fledged AAA product – will make use of the Apple device's unique control interface to bring handheld gamers even closer to the feeling of being an elite and unseen military marksman.
City Interactive's Global PR & Marketing Manager Jonathan Goddard said, "Sniper: Ghost Warrior has proven to be a huge commercial success and we have high hopes for its sequel on console and PC, which is due for release early next year. This new project is being developed from the ground up specifically for iOS devices, which we feel are perfectly suited to the crafting of a truly great sniping experience."
