Pokemon game coming to... iPhone? |
Listed in: News Tags: android, Nintendo, Pokemon

A brand new Pokemon game is coming to iOS and Android devices.
Pokemon Say Tap, a rhythm based Pokemon game, will be coming to iPhone and Android. The game is being developed entirerly by The Pokemon Company, which can make its own business moves. Nintendo owns 32% of the company, so they will see some of the profits the game is likely to make.
Nintendo commented on making future mobile games, to which they gave a clear "no" to.
This also marks the first time that a Pokemon game has released on a non-Nintendo platform. The most recent games, Pokemon Black and White, released on Nintendo DS earlier in the year. Rumor suggests that a new Pokemon Grey version will release on 3DS, but no evidence has arisen to support this.

It would, can you imagine polyphony renegotiation their GT franchise with other platforms?
Nintendo owns 32% of the franchise, what happened? for such a first party title, is like they shot themselves on the foot allowing so many shares escape..
Not complaining, I am not a Pokemon fan, just curious how will they handle..
