Pandora Updated With Background Audio Streaming

Pandora, the popular free music streaming app for iPhone and iPad, has just been given backgrounding support, allowing users to finally play their favorite music even after they have pressed that home button.

Before this update, and before iOS 4, users were required to leave the app open, which isn’t exactly convenient when it comes to listening to streaming music. Now with Pandora v3.1, users will be able to close out of the app and use their devices freely without killing the stream.
