Yes that’s right. Those cool looking multi-touch features which could be operated using four fingers or five fingers. This would allow you to perform functions such as going back to your home screen, switching between multiple apps and even opening the multitasking tray without needing to tap on the Home button twice. Unfortunately the option for multitasking gestures was omitted from the public version of iOS 4.3 since these were never meant for iPhone users but only for development purposes. If you also remember correctly, these multitasking gestures could be enabled on iOS 4.3 by using Xcode (again a developer’s tool) which was also sold in the Mac App store for $4.99. However, there is another way of enabling these gestures on your iPhone. If you have jailbroken you iPhone then there is a tweak which goes by the name of MT Gestures which will allow iPhone users to turn multitasking gestures on.  These gestures are still present on iOS 4.3 but Apple has hidden them so that no one can use them. However, with a little hack these gestures can be enabled. This is what MT Gestures does. It brings back the option of switching these gestures on from the Settings.app. You can find this app in Cydia through the ModMyi repository and the best part is that it’s free. However, while this may sound a lot of fun, these multi-finger gestures on the small 3.5 inch display of the iPhone make them a handful. For normal sized human fingers there just isn’t real estate for these functions to be really useful. It is a different case however if you fingers are really small. Because of this reason, these gesture make more sense on the iPad where there is enough room to use four and five fingers easily.
