Sometimes, you just can't be bothered to slog through the countless mail and SMS messages stored in your iPhone, checking them one by one until you find the one you're looking for. This is where Search comes in.

Search is a free homebrew iPhone app that lets you, well, search for keywords in your mail, SMS, notes, contact, and even the Web. Some reports say that the app's search function still needs a bit of tweaking, but it works decently enough for some quick word hunting.

Version 1.0 of Search can now be downloaded through Cydia. Check out the screenshots for a closer look at the app.
