Having trouble with the ol' phone bill? You're not the only one. Those envelopes never fail to get a "WTF?!" from me. I've come to call them my Kill Bills. Anyway, here's a useful app for all you iPhone users that'll help you make cheaper calls with VOIP providers.

Siax allows you to add any or more VOIP providers to make cheap calls when you're someplace with Wi-Fi, or if you have a 3G/UMTS connection. Siax also supports SIP and IAX2 protocol.

Key features:
  • SIP and IAX2 protocol
  • STUN enable/disable
  • Multiple SIP and IAX2 accounts
  • Codecs: G.711 a/u and GSM
  • DTMF support
  • Wlan and 3G/UMTS support
  • Edge/GPRS support (please read the FAQ)
  • Dial from the phone book
  • They promise no echo, no delay
Siax is available in Cydia via the repository of Big Boss.
