SBSettings - Image 1 SBSettings is said to be a full replacement for the much-beloved toggle switching app, BossPrefs.

Created by ipontouchmaster05 and BigBoss, SBSettings will allow users to drop commonly used toggles down by swiping along the status bar. It is said to be very fast and works with any app without actually having to exit the app (the main improvement over BossPrefs).

Just to give you an example, if I'm on Safari and I realize that my 3G isn't enabled, I can just swipe the status bar and enable 3G via the toggle menu that drops down. I won't need to close and restart Safari anymore because that takes too long and I'm obviously very busy.

While SBSettings is undoubtedly more convenient, BossPrefs still has more features, so it's not quite obsolete yet. Still, they'll be adding more stuff to SB soon so it might be a good idea to keep an eye on BigBoss' site for future updates.

SBSettings is available for free in Cydia so give it a shot if you're interested.

It would be great to have an easy access Brightness slider built into SBSettings! Or am i the only crazy one who things that the "Auto Brightness" option is useless on the iphone?
