dTunes - Image 1So you thought dTunes couldn't get better? Richard Shearman is at it again! He was able to update his dTunes iPhone homebrew earlier this week with two big things: TV out support and free torrent downloading.

Yes, you read that right: free torrent downloading - as opposed to the previous version's torrent feature which needed a US$ 9.99 per month subscription fee. Now, it's free! Here's the full changelog.
  • FREE Torrent Downloading : Assistance has been added for FREE torrent downloading.
    • Install dTunes 2.72 from Cydia and check out the Torrents Tab for more information
  • TV Video Out Support : You can now stream video out to a TV through an external video cable
dTunes v2.72 is now available on Cydia's MMi repository. Richard Shearman notes that if you can't see the dTunes update on Cydia, you'll have to uninstall whatever version of dTunes you have first and reinstall it again. And don't worry, Shearman says it shouldn't remove your download media files.
