Clippy - Image 1The ability to copy and paste text is a feature that a lot of iPhone users want. Since Apple wouldn't give it, here's the iPhone homebrew community to the rescue. Yep, copypasta has come to the iPhone and iPod Touch thanks to a free app called Clippy.

Using Clippy is pretty simple. Just type any text and hit the "123" icon on the iPhone's one-screen keyboard to show the Copy and Paste options. Tap copy, select the text you want to copy, and you can then paste it anywhere, even in a different app.

Clippy is still in beta stage, and as such it has its share of limitations. For one, it only works across the Notes, Mail, and SMS apps. You can also copy only one line at a time. For a beta app, it's still pretty damn impressive though.

You can download Clippy for free on the iSpazio repository through Cydia.
